Study Progression Options Available
Programme Pathways
All students enroll for the QCTO Level 4 National Certificate: Beauty Therapist and complete their first year of studies.
From there, students have two progression options:
Option 1:
Complete the first year and obtain the ITEC Beauty Specialist Diploma (60% Pass Rate Required).
Students then continue with their workplace modules in our Student Clinic for the remaining six months of the course, where they gain valuable practical experience and earn commission for the treatments they perform.
Students will only be awarded the QCTO NQF Level 4 National Certificate: Beauty Therapist after the successful completion of the final QCTO examination.
Option 2:
Complete the first year and progress to Year 2, allowing students to achieve the following qualifications:
•CIDESCO Beauty Therapy Diploma (70% Pass Rate Required)
•ITEC Diploma in Health & Skincare (60% Pass Rate Required)
•National Diploma in Health & Skincare (NQF Level 5) (70% Pass Rate Required)
Progression to Year 2 is subject to a review of each student’s academic performance and financial position, ensuring that they are both academically and financially prepared to manage the increased workload and additional subjects introduced in the second year.
These flexible progression pathways allow students to exit the programme at a time that best suits their personal goals, budget, and learning capacity, while still gaining both national and international qualifications.
